The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Instruction to teach organizational behavior courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will be required to develop and teach courses such as Introduction to Organizational Behavior, Negotiations, and others depending on interests and qualifications. The level of appointment will depend on the candidate’s educational background, teaching experience, and industry experience. Applicants for this position must have teaching credentials in the area of negotiations (while research is certainly welcome, this is a teaching assignment). Additionally, applicants will be expected to provide mentoring and leadership to students and student organizations and represent the university and degree program at various events (e.g., student recruiting open house).
The appointment commences for the Spring 2025 semester.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience: A minimum of an MS in Organizational Behavior or Industrial/Organizational Psychology is required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Education and Experience: A PhD in Organizational Behavior or Industrial/Organizational Psychology is preferred or 10 years relevant experience in the industry for candidates with a master's degree. Further, preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching Organization Behavior and Negotiations at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
